Backdrop Painting: The Bad Brush Method

Nothing says BC like vast evergreen forests. As you start to plant trees, however, you soon realize that it is going to take many more conifers than you have time or money for to properly forest your layout. The best way to make that forest is to paint it on the backdrop!

Painting our long backdrops requires a technique that produces decent effects quickly. After all, if we wanted to be artists, we would be artists! The Bad Brush Method will enable you to quickly cover the walls behind your layout with the mountains of Beautiful British Columbia.

This hands-on workshop is limited to 13 registrants. You will go home with a small section of backdrop that you painted, and your very own Bad Brush. Please do not wear your best shirt!
