Bring Your Models!
About
The Model Display will be at the centre of the in-person meet activities and we invite you to show your model railroad projects, whether partly underway or complete. All are welcome, from those taking their first steps in the hobby to those who’ve been at it a very long time, and everyone in between.
We encourage all attendees of the in-person meet to bring a model. The objective is to share our modelling experience. There is no contest associated with RMMBC.
When
The model display room is open throughout the in-person meet Saturday and Sunday.
(See the meet schedule for detailed times).
How to Participate – What is on your workbench?
Register for the in-person meet.
Bring any project including models (structures, locomotives, rolling stock, track work, scenery, etc), photos, drawings, prototype track and layout diagrams, and any other projects (circuits, signal systems, tools, etc) related to your modelling.
Complete a Model Display Form (see below) so we can plan accordingly and so we can keep an accurate inventory of models in the display room. Let us know in advance if you are bringing something that will have special space or power requirements.
The Model Display Form also feeds into our planning for Meet the Modeller. If you do not wish to participate in Meet the Modeller, simply let us know on the form.
During the Meet
We’ll have the tables set up by 9am on Saturday morning. The model display rooms is supervised at all times and locked otherwise to protect your models.
