PechaKucha (Micro-Clinics)
Fast and Fun! New for 2026

Do you have a PechaKucha in you?
We are looking for 8 to 10 people who would like to present in this new and exciting format your model(s), your project, your layout, or what ever has been occupying your workbench.
About the PechaKucha (Micro-clinics)
What the heck is a PechaKucha you are asking?
It is not type of sushi but the idea does originate from Japan.
PechaKucha is a presentation format that uses (up to) 20 slides, with each slide displayed for exactly 20 seconds, resulting in a total presentation time of six minutes and 40 seconds.
The term comes from the Japanese phrase for “chit-chat”. It is a fast-paced, storytelling method that emphasizes visuals and concise speaking to keep presentations dynamic and engaging.
The core rule is no more than 20 slides, with each slide timed to show for 20 seconds and advance automatically.
The format encourages presenters to use images and tell a story rather than relying on text. The tight timing keeps presenters concise and focused.

If you have not presented a clinic before,
this format is designed for you
– No need to prepare text slides
– Just give us your photos and be ready to have fun presenting
Remember – the slides (photos) advance automatically so it is bound to be interesting.

When
The PechaKucha session will be one of our clinic sessions for 2026. Our current thinking is that we will start our meet with this session as a fun way launch the meet
(but the scheduling may change as we plan the whole meet).
