Summary
Learn why I feel Vancouver Island’s Esquimalt & Nanaimo railway, in 1988, is a perfect prototoype for a model railway, and how I’m putting my money where my mouth is by showing you how I’m building it in my basement.
Description
This presentation showcases the why and then the how of Jon’s E&N layout. I’ll explain the rationale behind choosing the E&N, and then show you how my friend and I have gone from layout design through to construction of this three-deck layout which supports a ops session with up to eight crew members. Lots still to come in the form of scenery, structures, and more on this layout.
