Kyle Gardner's Pacific National Railway
The PNR is a free lanced HO model railway set in the early transition era. It uses an imagined CN/CP merger of operations, but has evolved to be dominated by CPR steam power. The present layout fills a 17’ by 20’ room with some 300 feet of track and 50 turnouts, 35 of which are hand laid to permit compact design. It is substantially complete except for a new peninsula with new yard and engine facilities. The numerous structures are either kit-bashed or scratch built from CPR designs. The rugged terrain supports lots of bridges and trestles.
Also displayed is a scratch built O scale snow fighting train, consisting of a CPR G4a, plow, flat w. Cat, and caboose, a (nearly) scratch built CNR U-1e in HO, and other unique models.
