Modelling the CN on Vancouver Island By Al LIll
The CNR operated until early 1990 on Vancouver Island and is very attractive and practical branch line prototype for a modeller - especially with limited space. Era specific equipment, operations, and structures will be covered as well as the marine connections to the mainland. It will also include models and a brief description of the presenter's currently expanding switching layout inspired by the CNR in Victoria featuring Brian Pate's railway car ferry slip at Point Ellice.
