From Highway 1, take Exit 37, Gaglardi Way. Follow the road up to Simon Fraser University via a couple of broad switchbacks, straight through the lights at University Ave. Bear right at the University Dr W roundabout, and left at the fork with South Campus Road to stay on Gaglardi Way all the way to the campus. The sports fields and tennis courts will be on the left as you pass beneath SFU's Transportation Centre. The meet is in the building immediately to your left as you go through. So, when you get to the stop sign at University Drive East, turn left.
Park in the parking lot on the right, and walk across the road to the West Mall Centre. If that lot is full, continue on to the West Parkade, just beyond the West Mall Centre and on the left. Look for signs, or the Tim Hortons.
Bus #95 is a B-line straight from downtown. Alternatively, the #145 picks up at Production Way-University Skytrain station. Use the translink app or website
to plan your trip. The bus will drop you at SFU's Transportation Centre. The meet is in the West Mall Centre, immediately west of the Transportation Centre (left compared to the direction of the bus), but if it's raining, you can go up the wide stairs in the middle of the Transportation Centre, and stay under cover right into the West Mall Centre.
You will want a shower by the time you get here, but Burnaby Mountain is a super destination for bikers. Road Bikers should come straight up Gaglardi. Mountain bikers will find it easiest to take the Trans Canada Trail from Burnaby Mountain Parkway at Ridgeview Dr (in the west) or from the Petro Canada refinery on Barnet Highway (in the east). If coming from the east, be careful to turn right so as not to find your way onto Pipeline. The Trans Canada Trail connects with University Drive Trail, which passes in front of the West Mall Centre.
